About This Camp

The 12th Annual Texas Shootout College ID Clinic is a two-day, girls-only ID camp hosted by Challenge Soccer Club in Round Rock, Texas on May 22–23, 2026. The camp runs as a day event (no overnight component) at the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex and costs $185. It features small-group training and 7v7 games led by college coaches, with a 6:1 player-to-coach ratio (4:1 for goalkeepers).

This camp is built for girls aged 14–18 exploring college soccer options across all division levels. Over 30 coaches from D1 (SEC and Big 12 schools), D2, D3, and NAIA programs attend, making it a broad-exposure event rather than a venue aimed at one tier of recruit. The format—small groups plus scrimmages—gives players multiple looks in front of different staffs. The camp welcomes all players, not just those in the Texas Shootout club program, so you're competing for coach attention alongside a mixed-ability roster.

Recruits should know that no head coach from a specific college program is listed as attending; the coaches on site are individual staff members (likely assistant coaches or scouts) representing their schools. This means evaluation is real, but you won't have a single program's head coach writing a report. The two-day format gives more touches and game time than a single-day clinic. At $185, the cost is modest for a multi-day ID event. Organizers assign each player a unique number for identification, making it easier for coaches to track individual performance. Past attendees noted that grouping by age and grade simplified coaching logistics and made comparisons more fair.

This camp works well for families in Central Texas wanting low-cost, high-volume exposure to coaches across divisions without travel. It's a solid fit for rising sophomores through seniors still exploring what division and academic fit make sense. If you're a D1-only recruit with a specific program in mind, or if you've already narrowed your search to one division, a broader clinic like this may feel unfocused. Register early, as the deadline is not yet posted.

* Tons of coaches from good schools attended * Girls all had unique numbers for identification * Coaches coached the players * Organized players by age/grade to make it easy for coaches

* Tons of players attended, but luckily the cap the number

Would recommendLots of coaches attend, and then have a chance to watch you at the showcase during the weekend. Highly recommend attending this one, even if you don't play in the showcase, but it's better if you do
