About IDCampFinder

Helping recruiting families cut through the noise since 2026.

What We Do

IDCampFinder is the most comprehensive directory of college soccer ID camps in the United States. We track 900+ camps across 11 states — with real dates, real prices, real coaches, and honest reviews from families who've actually been there.

It started because our founder, John Hull, couldn't find a good central place to research ID camps when his own daughter was going through the college recruiting process. The information landscape is, frankly, terrible — outdated flyers, dead links, PDFs from 2019, programs that don't list prices until you email them. Families deserve better, so he built it.

Our Mission

Help families make smarter recruiting decisions with real data, honest reviews, and transparent information — for free. The college recruiting process is stressful and expensive enough. The least we can do is make finding the right ID camp a little easier.

  • Accurate, up-to-date camp information
  • Honest reviews from real recruiting families
  • No pay-to-play rankings or sponsored placements
  • Free, always — because recruiting info shouldn't be paywalled

Who We Are

IDCampFinder was built by John Hull, a parent and strength coach based in Central Texas. In 2025, John's daughter went through the college soccer recruiting process. When it came time to research ID camps, he ran into the same wall every recruiting family hits: scattered info, outdated pages, no easy way to compare options side by side.

So this year, he built the tool he needed and didn't have. Outside of IDCampFinder, John runs Big Time Athletes, a strength and conditioning business serving young athletes, and its athlete-testing platform AthleteMetrics— but this project is personal, not commercial. It's the directory he wished existed when his own family was going through it.

Built by a parent

Not a marketing company, not a recruiting service. A dad who hit the problem firsthand and decided to fix it for the next family.

Editorial stance

We aim for practical, conservative descriptions. If we do not know something, we would rather say less than overclaim.

Why this matters

Families are making expensive travel and recruiting decisions. Better information reduces wasted camp spend.

How We Approach Accuracy

We aggregate camp information from school sites, camp operators, and trusted public sources, then organize it in a format families can actually use. We also collect reviews from real attendees and keep editorial pages focused on comparison, context, and planning value, not just search traffic.

We do not fabricate reviews, outcomes, or insider access. If a camp page looks thin or incomplete, we would rather leave a conservative summary than pretend certainty.

Coverage

We currently cover college soccer ID camps in Texas, Florida, California, North Carolina, New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, Ohio, Massachusetts, and Georgia — and we're expanding.

Know a Camp We're Missing?

Our data is only as good as our sources. If you know of a camp we haven't listed — or you run a program and want to make sure families can find you — submit it here. It's free.
