Spring ID Camp

Stetson University is hosting a Spring ID Camp for women's soccer on May 9–10, 2026, in DeLand, Florida. This is a two-day, day-camp format (no overnight component) open to grades 9 through college sophomores. The camp costs $286. Stetson competes in NCAA Division I within the ASUN conference.

This camp is designed for female soccer players exploring D1 programs outside the Power Five. Stetson is a developing-tier D1 program, meaning the recruiting competition and roster depth differ significantly from elite or strong-tier schools. The camp welcomes a wide age range—from rising 9th graders through current college sophomores—so it functions partly as an early-exposure event for younger players and partly as a roster-evaluation opportunity for juniors and seniors closer to commitment. If you have a player in grades 11–12 with realistic D1 athleticism and a fit for a selective private university, this camp warrants attention.

One important detail: the head coach does not attend this camp. That means coaching staff will be present and evaluating, but the head coach's direct involvement in camp decisions won't happen. For a two-day format at this price point, that's typical, though it does reduce the chance of high-level staff visibility compared to camps where the head coach is on site. Come prepared to show consistency across both days—single-day camps sometimes allow a player to have one standout session, but two days of play give a fuller picture to the coaching staff. This camp makes sense for families of rising 10th–12th graders with Division I soccer ability who are open to exploring a smaller, private D1 program in the Southeast.
