Youth Soccer Camp #1

Youth Soccer Camp #1 is a four-day day clinic hosted by UCLA Men's Soccer, one of the nation's elite Division 1 programs. The camp runs June 16–19, 2026, at IM Field in Los Angeles and costs $600. It is designed for boys ages 6–11 and focuses on skill training, games, and small-sided scrimmages led by the UCLA Men's Soccer coaching staff.

This camp is for young boys in the recreational-to-competitive range, not for high school recruits pursuing college recruitment. The age cap of 11 years old places participants well below the recruiting age band; this is a youth development camp, not a college ID event. Families with elementary-school-age players interested in exposure to elite college coaching methods and a high-level training environment will find value here, but prospective recruits and their families should not expect this to influence college recruitment conversations.

Families should know upfront that the $600 price tag is substantial for a four-day day camp and reflects the UCLA brand and coaching staff involvement. However, the head coach does not attend this camp, so evaluation for recruitment purposes is not part of the format. The small-sided scrimmage structure typical of youth camps offers skill development but limited film or advanced tactical work. This is fundamentally a summer skills and exposure experience, not a scouting event.

This camp serves families with young soccer players who want high-quality instruction in a college environment, not recruiting families. Families with high school athletes or rising 9th graders should look elsewhere; this camp will not advance college recruitment. If your child is under 12 and interested in an elite coaching experience during the summer, register early if a deadline appears.
