About This Camp

Youth Day Camp II is a five-day day camp hosted by Stetson University in DeLand, Florida, running June 15–19, 2026. This is a developmental clinic for elementary and middle school players (kindergarten through 8th grade as of fall 2026), not a college recruiting event. The camp costs $240.

This camp is not designed for high school recruits pursuing college soccer. It targets younger players in the pre-recruiting pipeline—roughly ages 5 to 14—who are building foundational skills and exploring the sport. If your child is in that age range and interested in a week-long skills camp at a college facility, this may fit. However, families with high school athletes looking for D1 exposure or recruiting evaluation should look elsewhere; this is youth development, not a recruiting venue.

Families should know upfront that the head coach does not attend this camp, which means it is a instruction-focused program rather than an active recruiting evaluation event. The five-day format allows for extended training time and skill repetition across multiple sessions. Stetson is a private, selective university in the ASUN Conference, a mid-level D1 league. The program is classified as developing, not elite, so this is not a high-profile recruiting pipeline. The camp has not yet been reviewed on this site.

This camp serves families with elementary and middle school players who want summer soccer instruction at a college environment. Recruiting families with high school athletes should pass—this event is not part of the college ID camp ecosystem. Register early if interested, as youth camps often fill during spring break periods.
