About This Camp

Stephen F. Austin's Women's College ID Camp is a single-day, daytime ID camp held May 10, 2026, at the university's soccer fields in Nacogdoches, Texas. The camp is open to female soccer players from 9th grade through college senior. Stephen F. Austin competes in NCAA Division I within the Southland Conference. The camp costs $191.

This camp is structured for a wide age range—rising 9th graders through current college players—which signals a broad recruitment funnel rather than a focused event for a specific class. The host program is a D1 school in a mid-tier conference, making this camp most relevant for families exploring D1 fit at a non-Power Five program. Recruits already committed to top-20 programs will find limited value here; those with realistic D1 ambitions at mid-conference schools, or rising freshmen testing the D1 recruiting landscape, are a better match. The lack of age or class restrictions means you may train alongside players two or three years younger or older, which can affect the intensity of competition and coaching attention per player.

The head coach does not attend this camp, which is an important distinction. Without the head coach present, evaluation may fall primarily to assistant coaches, and the camp functions more as a general revenue event than an active recruiting stage. The single-day format limits informal coach contact compared to overnight or multi-day camps. At $191, this is a relatively low-cost ID camp entry, so the financial commitment is modest. No prior reviews are available to inform expectations about coaching quality, field conditions, or camp organization.

This camp works best for recruits in grades 9–11 who want an affordable introduction to D1 soccer evaluation or for families seriously exploring Stephen F. Austin as a potential fit. Skip it if you are a senior in active pursuit of offers or if you need intensive head-coach evaluation to justify the time investment. Families interested in attending should register well before May 10, 2026.

* Camp seemed to be well run. All of the coaches, including the head coach, were engaged throughout * Followed the standard format for camps, with drills, small sided games in the morning. Full-sided game after lunch. * Players were generally decent, but I don't think they quite had enough attendees, as some of the SFA players had to sub in.

* My daughter attended in July, and it had stifling heat for the 11v11 * We live in the Austin area, and Nacogdoches in around 4 hours away in the middle of nowhere. I wouldn't attend unless you really want to go to SFA.

Would not recommendWasn't worth it given the distance from Austin. Nothing at all wrong with the camp
