About This Camp

UTSA Women's College ID Camp (Spring) is a one-day recruiting camp hosted by UT San Antonio's women's soccer program on May 17, 2026, at Park West Athletics Complex in San Antonio, Texas. The camp runs full-day and costs $165–$180. Participants ages 13–18 will be evaluated through training sessions, small-sided games, and 11v11 scrimmages led by the Roadrunners coaching staff.

This camp is designed for girls considering D1 soccer who want exposure to a developing mid-major program. The age range (13–18) signals openness to younger explorers as well as older recruits, so it works both for rising freshmen dipping into the recruiting process and for committed juniors and seniors narrowing their college list. UTSA competes in D1 but is not a high-tier program, so recruits should come with realistic expectations about the level of national exposure or offer likelihood. The moderate academic tier and large public-school setting mean academics are part of the evaluation, though the program is not selective in that dimension.

The head coach attends this camp, which matters: it means the entire coaching staff is actively evaluating, not just collecting camp fees. Participants can expect meaningful eyes on their play in both small-group and full-field settings. Because it's a single-day format rather than overnight or multi-day, informal coach contact will be more limited than at residential camps, but the structured sessions and scrimmages will provide ample video and live evaluation. Past attendees noted the camp was well-organized and that coaches stayed engaged throughout. The cost is modest relative to other ID camps, making this a low-financial-barrier entry point for families testing the D1 recruiting waters.

This camp suits families exploring D1 fit at a developing program and wanting a well-run, affordable evaluation day. Skip it if you're looking for a nationally prominent program or if your daughter is already receiving offers from higher-tier schools. There is no registration deadline listed, but May 17 is approaching—check availability soon if you're interested.

* Camp was well organized. everything ran smoothly * Head coach and entire coaching staff were coaching and engaged throughout. Also had some other guest coaches observing from other schools * Pretty typical format with drills, small sided, and full sided games. Also had an athlete and parents Q&A coaches inside the locker room facility which was nice.

* Attended a camp in May, and the 11v11 was in the afternoon in the heat/humidity. Try to go to a camp not in the summer * There were around 55 girls, so there were a lot of players.

Would recommendWorth attending if you're interested in UTSA and have interest from the coaching staff already
