About This Camp

UC Irvine is hosting a four-day coed soccer clinic from June 8–11, 2026, in Irvine, California. The camp runs daily (not overnight) and is designed for young players ages 4–12. It focuses on fundamental skill development through soccer games and drills. This is a youth development camp, not a college recruiting event.

This camp is not a college ID camp. It's a youth skills clinic for elementary-school-age players, well before the recruiting window opens. Families with children ages 4–12 who want affordable summer soccer instruction and exposure to a D1 college program's coaching approach will find value here. This is an early introduction to organized soccer, not a scouting or evaluation opportunity for high school recruits.

UC Irvine's youth clinic offers younger players a chance to train under college-level instruction and get a feel for a campus environment. The four-day format gives kids more repetition and structure than a single-day session. No registration deadline is posted, so interested families should check the school's athletics website directly for current availability and cost information. The head coach does not attend these youth clinics, which is typical for development camps aimed at this age group.

Families with children in grades K–6 looking for summer skill-building in Southern California should consider this option. If you're the parent of a high school player researching college ID camps, this record isn't relevant to your search. Focus instead on recruiting events aimed at your recruit's age group and graduation year.
