Quick Facts
About This Camp
Stephen F. Austin is hosting a women's college ID camp on July 18, 2026, a single day at the university's soccer fields in Nacogdoches, Texas. The camp serves Division 1 recruiting, with the Jacks competing in the Southland Conference. Cost is $191. This is a day camp with no overnight component.
The camp is open to girls in grades 9 through 12 and college-aged players. Because Stephen F. Austin is a D1 program, this event targets recruits seriously considering NCAA Division 1 soccer. However, the Southland Conference is a mid-tier D1 league. Families should view this as exposure to a legitimate D1 program rather than entry into an elite or power-conference recruiting pipeline. The wide grade range—from rising 9th graders through seniors—means the experience will mix early-stage explorers with committed upperclassmen.
The head coach does not attend this camp, which is an important detail. Without head-coach presence, evaluation is likely limited to assistant staff, and the coaching staff's recruiting focus may be divided. That said, the $191 cost is reasonable for a day camp, making this a low-financial-risk option if a family is interested in gauge-testing fit with a Southland Conference program. No prior attendees have left ratings or reviews on file.
This camp works best for girls exploring mid-tier D1 fit and interested in seeing the Southland Conference level of play firsthand. Families with realistic D1 ambitions who are drawn to Stephen F. Austin specifically—or who live near East Texas and want to minimize travel—will find value here. Younger recruits (grades 9–10) may use it as an early data point; upperclassmen should balance it against camps where head coaches are actively recruiting. There is no posted registration deadline.

Write a Review* Camp seemed to be well run. All of the coaches, including the head coach, were engaged throughout * Followed the standard format for camps, with drills, small sided games in the morning. Full-sided game after lunch. * Players were generally decent, but I don't think they quite had enough attendees, as some of the SFA players had to sub in.
* My daughter attended in July, and it had stifling heat for the 11v11 * We live in the Austin area, and Nacogdoches in around 4 hours away in the middle of nowhere. I wouldn't attend unless you really want to go to SFA.
