Quick Facts
About This Camp
UTSA Women's College ID Camp is a one-day women's Division 1 ID camp hosted by UT San Antonio on July 25, 2026, at Park West Athletics Complex in San Antonio, Texas. The camp runs during the day only and costs $165–$180. It is open to players ages 13–18 and focuses on direct evaluation by the coaching staff.
This camp is suited for high school girls exploring D1 soccer fit, particularly those interested in UTSA as a realistic recruitment target. The program is classified as developing, meaning it is not an elite recruiting destination but rather a legitimate Division 1 option. Because the head coach attends, UTSA's staff will be actively evaluating attending players, making this a genuine scouting event rather than a revenue-focused clinic. The camp welcomes a broad age range, so it can serve both younger players getting early exposure and upperclassmen narrowing their recruiting list.
The relatively low cost—under $200—makes this an accessible entry point for families testing the D1 camp waters without major financial commitment. Head coach attendance means you should expect serious evaluation; bring your realistic game, not just your highlight-reel moments. A single-day format limits informal coach contact compared to overnight camps, so your performance during structured sessions will carry extra weight. The moderate academic tier at this large public university signals that academics matter in admissions but are not a barrier relative to soccer ability. No recent reviews are available for this specific camp, so families should focus on the program's actual Division 1 status and coaching presence rather than peer feedback.
This camp works best for families with a genuine interest in UTSA as a program and a realistic sense of where their player stands in D1 recruiting. If you are chasing elite programs or still narrowing your target list, this is a solid low-cost option to gauge coaching interest at a solid mid-tier D1 school. Families should confirm any registration deadline directly with UTSA, as none is listed here.

Write a Review* Camp was well organized. everything ran smoothly * Head coach and entire coaching staff were coaching and engaged throughout. Also had some other guest coaches observing from other schools * Pretty typical format with drills, small sided, and full sided games. Also had an athlete and parents Q&A coaches inside the locker room facility which was nice.
* Attended a camp in May, and the 11v11 was in the afternoon in the heat/humidity. Try to go to a camp not in the summer * There were around 55 girls, so there were a lot of players.
