About This Camp

This is St. Mary's University's residential ID camp for women's soccer, held June 18–21, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas. The camp is a four-day overnight program hosted by the Division II program competing in the Lone Star Conference. The $630 cost covers the full residential experience.

The camp is open to girls in grades 4–12 as of Fall 2026, which means it spans a wide age range from elementary school through high school seniors. This breadth signals a development-focused event rather than a targeted recruiting camp for serious college prospects. While St. Mary's is a D2 program, the inclusion of elementary and middle school players suggests the primary goal is exposure and skill-building for younger age groups, not active evaluation of college-ready recruits.

Families should know that the head coach does not attend this camp, so while St. Mary's staff will be present, there is no guarantee that on-field evaluation feeds directly into the recruiting process. The overnight format does provide more informal interaction time than a typical day camp, and the four-day duration allows for deeper training cycles and scrimmage play. At $630, this is a premium day-camp price for a residential program; families should factor that against their recruiting timeline and whether their daughter is truly in the target age window for college recruiting (typically junior and senior year of high school).

This camp works best for younger players and families seeking early exposure to college soccer in a residential setting, or for middle schoolers testing their level against a competitive college program. Recruits already in serious pursuit of D2 scholarships may find more value in overnight camps where the head coach actively evaluates. If you're interested in attending, confirm the registration deadline directly with St. Mary's, as none is listed here.

* Camp followed the standard format for an ID camp. * There were several coaches attending from other schools.

* Camp was in June, and the heat was unbearable the whole camp. * It poured rain the day before the camp, so the main field was water logged and they couldn't play on it. They ended up playing on the practice field, which was fine, just not as nice as the game field.

Would not recommendCamp was as good as any other camp. Just make sure you have genuine interest before you go. My daughter also did not like the campus at all, as it's not in the greatest area of San Antonio. Check out the campus before attending to decide interest.
